Coaching courses

Rock climbing on southern sandstone in Sussex

I have been climbing on Sandstone for over 10 years and there are not many days in which I can't be found climbing or working on my local rock. I have climbed most of the routes on the main cliffs and have climbed a number of British 6c graded climbs and numerous 6b's. This knowledge, coupled with my coaching qualifications means I can offer high qualility coaching courses that will improve your climbing grade and improve your ability in the future.

These courses are designed to teach you the skills needed to progress to the next level in your climbing. The day will cover footwork, balance, weight transfer and tactics. The day will start with warm up tactics, games and drills that will help you reach your climbing goals in the future. The course will then progress into either onsight tactics or repointing a hard route to help achieve a new personal best.

I am able to coach people who are currently climbing at British 5c/6a or below. Coaching courses will run at Bowles rocks, or at an indoor climbing wall if poor weather is forecast.
